This word was invented in the 1970s, when a new word was required to cover the growing problems of tension threading tightly around our lives. The symptoms range from stiff, tense muscles.... indigestion... insomnia... migraine, to anxiety attacks sometimes so severe, the only way to distinguish them from a heart attack is via an ecg.
